For over a decade now, GHire has had wide experience in the provision of tools and heavy equipment for hire and in the fields of construction, drilling and civil engineering, transport and logistics services as well as oil and gas support services. Some partners we have worked with over the past few years include, Ghana Manganese Company Limited, Redback Mining, Minerals Commission, the MSA Group and many others.
Extensive experience has been gained working with some of the top construction and civil engineering firms in the country and overseas as executing contractors on land reclamation and restoration projects, sea defence works, land preparation works and general construction works.
GHire has had several partnerships with companies focusing on similar service provisions in some of their projects. Some main projects GHire has executed are listed below.
Under the Government of Ghana, Land Reclamation Project to reclaim all degraded mine
lands in the country, GHire was the main executing contractor for the Pilot Land
Reclamation Project at the Bosome Freho and Bosomtwe Districts in the Ashanti region.
GHire was the main executing contractor for the Q3 Land Reclamation Project at Kobriso
and Miremire. The main aim of this project was to reclaim and restore degraded land
areas in the Kobriso, and Miremire areas while also supplying equipment for the
execution of the project.
Exploration and geology field services, geological mapping. The MSA Group has been our
major partner across the West African region partnering us in some of our major projects
within the past few years.
GHire was the main executing contractor for the geotechnical drilling of wells and shafts at Lola Mines for Sama Resources in Guinea.
The project was to perform grade control drilling at Essankan Mines in Burkina Faso.
The project was to perform hydrogeological investigations and test aquifer yields at the Lefa Mines in Lero, Guinea.
The project was to drill and construct piezometres for a small-town water system which involved the drilling of boreholes, construction of overhead tanks, and pipe laying at Nsuta quarters.
The project was to carry out drilling, construction, and mechanisation of 7 boreholes and training of communities in ownership and management of water facilities.
The company has also entered into the West African sub-regional market with clients in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Burkina Faso and plans to undertake more projects in the sub-region in the near future.
